Or at least i think so,im really not liking all this chatter im hearing about our coach being on the hot seat,Everyone is dissapointed in how we got run outta the post-season,but getting rid of our coach?,cmon, please,I cant even think of one guy out there right now who would be an upgrade,We absolutely need more depth off the bench,I mean its unfair to ask Chris Paul and David West to play 2 on 5 almost every night in the NBA,Thats not a knock on the rest of our team, who were injured seemingly all season, and just couldnt find a consistant effort,Hornets fans know that we will see our team change this off-season,Will they deal chandler?{again},Will they fire our coach?,These are just a couple things to watch for,In my not so humble opinion,I think getting rid of those two would be silly, but we or should i say the hornets dont seem to be far away from contention,They have two all-stars,a damn good coach,so here we or they are at the ever so aggrivating, and dissapointing cusp of being great
jmgisme, 1 year ago | FlagI also agree. It's be a good season overall and look at all the teams that didn't make the playoffs.
I've watch as many games as I could and have seen a lot of improvemen
t with a lot of players. (Sean Marks come to mind, not the most gracefull but definitely a workhorse, for example) I believe the Hornets are a top notch team and I cannot wait until next year and even though I was at the playoff slaughter against the Nuggets it was well worth the trip there and I even went to a little rally for the Hornets in Baton Rouge this week. I'm a fan, I'm a believer.
I think Coach Scott carries himself and the team well, to consider firing him would be foolish in my opinion. Take the time and think about the line up of players we have, all is good.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!
FleurdeBee21, 1 year ago | FlagI agree 100%. I'm getting tired of all the "commentat
ors" that have come to the surface lately. Fire Scott, trade this guy, etc. Where was all the hate last year? Because of the injuries we had this year, it exposed our weakness - the bench. This was still an issue last year but not as focused upon because our top five were healthy and at the top of their game.
We've had the 6th best record in the NBA over these past two seasons - everyone just needs to calm down and wait to see what the offseason will bring. Changes do need to be made but not a complete overhaul like people are suggesting
